Tree hunting and ward party

Christmas has so many traditions attached to it. One of my favorite is going to the mountains and hunting for the perfect Christmas tree. We usually try to find a geo-cache, and mom always makes a yummy chillie. Hattie was a little young this year, but she still did really good. We hunted for hours and finally found a tree someone had chopped down and not wanted. It's funny how the later it gets, the better a tree looks. Ha ha. It ended up being okay since we could hide the naked backside of it, and it only tipped over twice this year.

Another fun tradition is the ward party. This year our ward went to the Fort down in Indian Battle. It was all outside around fires. They had santa, gingerbread house making, and a fun hay ride. It was lots of fun and really cold!
